Hexenscheune in Krov

A little jewel in the heart of Kröv with a great winegrower's feast such as cold vesper platters, homemade soups and hearty fried potato dishes. But the homemade tarte flambée is very special! Super friendly staff, warm hosts and a cozy atmosphere among hundreds of witches. An absolute must when you are out and about in Kröv :)

Here it tastes like ready-made products, tarte flambée with what feels like tons of cheese, is indicated "with rosemary" you will find 5 individual leaves on the tarte flambée ... from the outside the restaurant makes a promising impression - it looks rustic and quaint. Inside then rather sober and uncomfortable furnishings with kitschy carnival witch decorations. Somehow it wasn't mine.

Nice staff, very tasty food and really large portions. A mix of home cooking and modernity, rather on the traditional side. The location is cozy. A recommendation!

Nice restaurant, fast and nice service. Nevertheless, you should take the time to remove the thread from the spit roast. The fried potatoes were unfortunately partly burnt, the rest was good. We have been there several times and we always liked it.

Unfortunately, half a star is not possible, it would be deserved for this restaurant. The starters served lovingly and listlessly. We had venison ragout with spaetzle, unfortunately the spaetzle didn't see any salt at all while cooking. At first, they showed themselves to be capable of criticism, even deducting a court from the bill without any ifs or buts. When the boss came back from the kitchen, however, it was claimed that the spaetzle were just right. Thus, no critical faculty at all, instead one suggests to the guest as simulant and liar. We don't need that with the best! We recommend the * Ritter Götz * a few meters further away. Here hospitality, service and very good cuisine are run with heart and hand❗

Super restaurant in the middle of the town of Kröv, very nice and available service, food was very good and tasty! Great go on.

In our opinion, this restaurant doesn't deserve more stars. The reservation by phone was extremely complicated as everything was apparently fully booked and it could possibly rain. Nevertheless, an agreement was reached for a short period of time. Upon arrival, the staff seemed stressed even though no guests were present. People who did not reserve were sent away. We had a starter that was 100% ready-made. In our opinion a no go ... The main course, however, was tasty and reasonably presented. The spit roast is recommended. However, the service seemed quite listless to us. As if you weren't welcome as a guest. You could literally resole the waiter's shoes while "walking". He couldn't even look us in the eye while taking our order and that makes a bad picture.

Lots of witches on site 😉 Make sure to turn the picture around. It offers unique insights. Very tasty food and friendly service. The spit roast alone is worth the trip 😊

Unfortunately not really recommended. Dishes are not worth it for the price. The cheese platter is served with slices of cheese from the supermarket. It really doesn't have to be.

Eaten twice. Fair first time. Flamkuchen with way too much toppings floated in the balsamic vinegar. Hexenrolle was fine. Had dinner again today. Was very disappointing. Small portion roulade. Goulash not to eat! 1 container of water! In high season it is unfortunately difficult to eat out in Kröv. Everything is packed every night and it makes no sense to go out without a reservation.

Funny economy. Nice personel. Interesting tarte flambee. VERY humane prices.
